International Instructors Course

Mr Paul Carroll, 2nd Degree Black Belt, will be attending the International Instructors Course. This course is being held in the Mardyke Arena,University College Cork.
The IIC will commence on Friday the 30th of September and will continue until Sunday the 2nd of October.
The IIC will be taught by the son of the founder of Taekwon-do, ITF President Choi Jung Hwa and Master Robert Wheatley.
To date this is the only International Instructors Course in Europe scheduled to be conducted by President Choi in 2011 and it will be open to all Taekwon-do practitioners worldwide 2nd Kup (red belt) and higher.

Facilitated in a fully matted training area complete with varying types of training equipment, this one hour training session promises to provide all of the above.

Since moving into our new premises in February this year the Academy has progressed considerably.  It is now equipped with a fully matted training area and varying types of training equipment to ensure the experience of all of our students is a positive one.
We now provide TaeKwon-do training 4 days of the week (Mon, Tues, Thurs & Fri) allowing all of our students flexibility in their training schedule.  We also hope to introduce weekend classes shortly.
The first class is free so why not come along and give it a try!  Hope to see you there.

Balbriggan TaeKwon-Do Academy 1st Annual Summer Camp.

We would like to invite all TaeKwon-Do students and friends over the age of 7, from white belt and above to our first annual Summer Camp which will be taking place in the Academy Hall.

The camp will provide an opportunity to train in all aspects of TaeKwon-Do as well as fun and sporting activities.

At Balbriggan TaeKwon-do Academy we aim to teach your child to strive for excellence and be the best they can be.  When students find a particular skill challenging, they must show perseverance in order to overcome that hurdle.  Developing this quality will give your child high self-esteem and this is the key factor in all our TaeKwon-do Academy programmes.
